Spaghetti Kitchen

You can find us on Pallivasal Street in Sirugamani, which is a small spot out near Trichy. We’re located at number four, right in the heart of the village area. It’s a quiet street most of the time, except when things get busy during the day. We focus on food, specifically pasta and Italian-style dishes, though being out here in Tamil Nadu means we do things a little differently than a big city restaurant. Our kitchen isn't very big, so we have to stay organized. Most of the time it’s just us prepping ingredients and cooking for whoever walks in or orders. We don't have a fancy menu with photos or anything. It’s just a list of what we can make that day. The building is old and sometimes we have to fix a leak or paint a wall, but it has character. We use what we can get locally for the sauces. Sometimes a batch of tomatoes isn't as good as the last, so the taste changes a little, but that's just real cooking. People in Sirugamani know us as the place for something different than the usual local fare. We don't pretend to be some high-end bistro. It’s just a small kitchen where we cook what we like and hope the neighbors like it too. It’s a simple life working here on Pallivasal Street.
