Nadgir Polytechnic

Being located right off Hosur Road in Garve Bhavi Palya means there is always a lot of noise from the traffic outside. We are pretty easy to spot since we’re right near St. Mary’s School. It’s a busy part of Bangalore, and our building at number 79 is where a lot of technical learning happens every day. We don’t have those fancy air-conditioned classrooms you see in the city center. Our labs are filled with actual machinery and tools that the students use until their hands get greasy. It’s a practical place for people who want to learn how things actually work. The staff here has been around for quite some time, and they don’t have much patience for laziness. We expect the students to show up and put in the effort. During the lunch break, the local tea stalls get crowded with our students talking about their projects or upcoming exams. It’s a very grounded environment. We try to keep the equipment in good shape, though things break down when you have hundreds of teenagers using them every week. We just fix them and keep going. Most of our students come from the surrounding neighborhoods, looking for a way to get a solid start in their careers. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s real, and we’re proud to be a part of this community for so long.
