Interglobe Aviation Ltd-Indigo

Being part of the Interglobe Aviation team here in Bangalore means things are always moving fast. Most people just see the Indigo planes at the airport, but there is a lot of work that happens in the offices behind the scenes. We are the ones handling the schedules and making sure the ground staff have what they need. It’s a lot of coordinating and checking lists over and over. The office environment is usually a bit loud because there’s always a phone ringing or someone asking a question about a flight. We don’t have much time for sitting around doing nothing. Bangalore is a big hub for us, so the volume of work is pretty high most days. We wear our uniforms and try to stay on top of the constant changes that happen with air travel. It’s not a glamorous job like people might think from the ads. It’s mostly dealing with delays, weather issues, and lost luggage queries. We eat our meals quickly when we find a gap in the schedule. There is a sense of relief at the end of a shift when all the flights for that window have taken off. We aren't trying to be anything we're not. We just show up, do the shifts, and go home to start again the next day. It’s just how it is working in aviation. We just focus on getting people where they need to go without any extra fuss.
