Excel Wirecut Inc. is tucked away in the Channappa Industrial Estate, specifically at No. 5/6 Sajjepalya Pete. We’re also just off Magadi Main Road, which is the lifeblood of this industrial area. Being in an estate like Channappa means it’s always loud with the sound of machinery and the smell of cut metal in the air. Our workshop is a bit of a mess sometimes, but we know where everything is. We focus on wirecut work, which requires a lot of precision and patience. The machines take up most of the floor space, leaving just enough room for us to move around. It’s hot work, especially in the middle of the day when the sun beats down on the roof. Sajjepalya Pete is a busy little pocket of activity. We’ve got neighbors doing all sorts of manufacturing, so there’s always someone moving crates or loading a truck nearby. We don’t have a fancy office; we just have our machines and a small desk for the paperwork. The Magadi Main Road traffic is something we just deal with every morning and evening. It’s an honest, gritty kind of place to work. We’ve been part of this industrial estate for quite a while now. Most of our day is spent watching the machines and making sure the cuts are exactly right. It’s a practical business for people who don’t mind getting their hands a bit dirty to get the job finished.
