E Ramanadhan

Started the business here on Kanakapura Road back when there wasn't nearly as much traffic as there is now. It's just me and a couple of others mostly. We get in around nine, sometimes earlier if there’s a lot to do, and usually leave when the sun goes down. The address is 2 5, so we’re right in the middle of things. People stop by and ask for directions quite a bit because the road is long. It's not a big fancy place, just a regular office with some old chairs and a desk that's seen better days. We do our work, talk to the neighbors, and try to keep things moving. Sometimes the internet goes out and we just sit and have tea until it comes back. That’s just how it goes here. You get used to the noise from the street after a few years. It becomes like background music. Most of our day is spent handling papers or talking on the phone with people we've known for a decade. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the name E Ramanadhan on the door. It’s a simple setup but it works for us. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to do a good job so we can go home and eat dinner. Every day is pretty much the same, which is fine by me.
