Rathna Cement

Rathna Cement is located at 313 Ennathavadi Road in the Arugavoor area. We’ve been in this specific spot for quite a long time. Our business is focused on cement, which means our yard is always filled with heavy bags and the smell of construction. It’s a straightforward operation. We don’t have a lot of bells and whistles. The office is just a small room where we keep the ledgers and a couple of chairs for when people come in to settle their accounts. Arugavoor is a growing place, so we stay pretty busy with all the new houses going up around here. The road outside can get a bit rough when the heavy trucks are coming through, especially after it rains, but we don’t mind it much. It’s just part of being in the building trade. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the state; we just want to make sure the people on Ennathavadi Road and the surrounding streets can get their cement when they need it. Most days it’s just us moving pallets and checking orders. It’s hard on the back sometimes, but it’s good to see the buildings actually getting finished using the stuff we sold. We don’t do any big advertising or anything. People just know we are here at number 313. It’s been that way for years, and we don't see any reason to change it. We just do the work as it comes.
