Chitra Rice Mill

We’ve been running Chitra Rice Mill here on Seshanchavadi Road for a while now. If you head down towards Veppilaipatti Pudur, you'll find us at number 98 in Ajjalnaickenpatti. It’s a busy spot but we like it. The mill takes up most of our time, especially when the harvest comes in. People around here know where we are. We don't do much fancy stuff, just handle the rice and keep the machines going. My family helps out too. It gets dusty inside but that’s just how a rice mill is. Sometimes the road gets a bit crowded with trucks but we manage. We aren't a big factory or anything, just a local setup. We spend the whole day checking the grains and making sure everything is moving along. It’s hard work and the sun gets hot out here in Ajjalnaickenpatti. Most days start early before it gets too bright. We see a lot of the same faces coming by. It is just a regular place doing regular work. We try to keep the place tidy but there is always some husk lying around. That’s just life at the mill. If you are passing by Seshanchavadi Road, you can see the sign. We’ve been in this spot for years and don't plan on moving. It feels right being part of the local area here. Nothing fancy, just us working and keeping the machinery oiled up. We focus on the daily tasks and make sure the grain is processed properly before the day ends.
